Learnings from Taarak Mehta ka Oolta chasma
From last 10 -
12 years we have been watching a beautiful TV series on SAB channel, i.e. Taarak
Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, with almost 3000 episodes on board. A TV show in
which all the characters behave in such a natural way that sometimes we feel ourselves
as part of this show. A show with perfect comic timings. Being modern,
being in a metro city, still moral values, family values are
preserved. There is a lot to learn from it. The main aim of this show is
to spread togetherness in a light, crisp and
hilarious way.
Character of Roshan
Singh Sodhi tells us to always be ready for all the
occasions. He stands up for family and friends. He is all the time filled with
Liveliness and jolliness. From AtmaRam Bheede we learn to be frugal.
Rules must always be followed, they are meant to be tagged along.
From Daya Ben we learn that whatever the situation is just chill,
enjoy, dance. She is a caring wife, obedient daughter in law,
persevering mother, a quintessential friend and we have always seen her
trying to unite all the members of Mahila Mandal in one or
the way. From his husband Jethalal we learn to have a broad
view. He always respects and abides by his father, he is filled with
patience. He says it is not wrong to ask for help if required. No
problem is bigger than us. Values from saying Jai jinendra
when meeting and leaving to touching father's feet, all are shown kept
intact. His Bapu ji, Champak lal says Never cross the boundaries, always
stay within ethical lines. Never deviate from your focus, no matter what
else topic is going is what we learn from these two characters: Hansraj
Hathi does not forget food, Popat lal never forgets marriage; stay
focused to your goal. Tarak Mehta (Fire brigade is what Jethalal
calls him) always helps his friend and other members of society in all the
situations. There is key to each and every lock. His wife Anjali firmly
sticks to what is right. If your partner tries to deviate from the aim, you
have to pull him back to the track. Tappu is always innovative. His
principles are World is not lack of Ideas. Sky is the limit. You need to try,
try and try always. He believes in Team building.
Here I'll talk
about one main thing which I learnt is togetherness.
- People from different directions of the country live together as a big family or I can say many nuclear families combine together to become a big joint family.
- Irrespective of their caste or religion, they celebrate all the festivals with full joy and happiness. All sorts of National, Religious festivals are celebrated wherein each and every member contributes. They forget all their differences and problems-sorrows and enjoy themselves to the maximum.
- Each person has his own quality, he/she has his own value. They live in a society where people live together with their own strengths and weaknesses. They help each other with individual capability. Nobody says no to the efforts required to get rid of any trouble.
- If we are together, whenever there is a problem we can face it, solve it. When united, Many ordinary people become extraordinary collectively. United we stand, divided we fall, unity is strength are some untold sayings we learn from the show.
- Life is full of positivity and so every situation is, we just need to collect it. There is a positive side of everything. Positivity is contagious. If one person starts thinking positive, solution pour in from all directions. Stay positive, wait for the right time and success is yours. There is answer is to all the questions, it may take some time, but every lock has its key.
- There is a pinch of laughter in all the situation. Problems and their solutions is part of life, we have to learn that these problems cannot be avoided but they can be resolved so stay positive, live life with laughter and we will find a solution to each and every problem. We should not forget the worth of laughter. Laughter and Patience are the best policies. And finally there is learning in all situations.
- Young ones learn a lot from elders, they follow their elders. Dada Ji scolding Papa in front of his grandson is the best example of things which are missing from our day to day life. We need to understand that what we do, how we behave is what reflected in young one's day to day deeds. We should respect our elders, whatever they say, they say for our good.
- There is no work small or big. They are all united, They do all the work together and whether it is for Swachhata Abhiyan or festive program or organizing anything such as Gokuldham Premier League, all the members consider their work important and do it. They don't consider any work little or huge. When it is a win, it is a collective win and if they lose, the whole team-family-society loses.
- Social issues - Bad rituals can be depicted in a different way and to eradicate from the society we have to stand against it, aware people about it. Every now and then they try to take a social issue on the show and make people awake. They try to break the long-old styled traditions which must be wiped out from the society.
- Life is not always as smooth as planned or thought, it is not always sweet but other spices also add to make the taste better. One thing is for sure, There is always a happy ending to everything.
These are a few lessons from
one of the largest comedy series Indian television has ever seen. You can also

DeleteA TV serial explained in best possible ways.
ReplyDeleteAccording to me we can learn lessons of life from everything we come across in our day to day routine.
First & formost thing is that we should have an urge to learn.
We should accept the goodness & should reject the bad things.
