Happiness 24x7
Happiness starts with us and is a state of mind, rather than physical condition. if we feel and want to be happy, we will be! , but still, 99% of us will never know how to achieve happiness in its easiest form. How to be happy? is one of the most asked questions and everybody wants to achieve happiness. We spent our entire life in search of Happiness and yet we couldn’t. we need to have a purpose in life but purpose with happiness. Once you get the status of 24x7 Happiness, life will be easy for us. Living simple and uncomplicated life is the ultimate goal. Happiness with simplicity makes your life different and better from others. You. Let's understand first the meaning of happiness, Happiness (maybe your work, your deeds, your behaviour) is something that brings joy continuously without harming anyone.
I Narrate the subject with a little story, There was a man who used to work day and night to earn money so that he could give happiness to the family but with time he realized that neither he is happy nor the family because the family needed his time and presence which he could not give. We are so worried about the future that we cannot see the joys of the present. Some suggestive points to get happiness are
1. Happiness should be our way of life, not life. The way of life is more important rather than just living. To complete a century every single run is important for a batsman. People stressed too much about irrelevant things and they lost their way of life. One can never be happy all the time (24x7) if he/she keeps shifting his/her actions between good, passionate and evil. Whatever you are doing in life,
you must have some purpose and that will make you happy while doing work. Perform your acts as a duty and because the result of your actions is only in the hands of God/supreme power/karma, do not get anxious and stressed and thus don’t relate yourself with the result of your actions.
2. Meditation changes the way of thinking. Meditation reduces your stress & anxiety, increases self-care & positivity and improves your social skills & self-awareness. Happiness and meditation go side by side. When we combine both, endless joy and unimaginable happiness are created. Meditation of any form ( Preksha, Vipassana etc) are good and made a positive change in your life.
3. Diet and lifestyle. An old phrase says “You are what you eat.” If you eat tamasic food ( like a burger, pizza ) more your body don’t gets require vitamins, minerals, and all-important nutrient which need of the body, in turn, our body reflects signs of sickness, illness, laziness, lack of energy, and ultimately turn sick.. when you eat satvik food ( like fruits, green vegetables, millets, pulses), our body will respond with more positivity, high energy level, very fewer health problems, our mind will be more concentrate on good things, and all these leads to happiness. Your lifestyle decides your level of happiness. When you have a healthy lifestyle and a fit body means you are happy. A healthy mind resides in a healthy body and this is the real happiness.
4. Be social. Loneliness is the biggest enemy of happiness. Our family, our relatives, and our friends remove our loneliness and give us happiness. Loneliness is most feared in old age, I have personal experience when we go to old age homes for projects to help them, Residents of old age homes used to tell us, we do not need things, sit near us, listen to our mind, give us time. love nature. In foreign countries, animals are also reared to overcome loneliness.
5. Be fully Aware of the material nature. Material things have three qualities – fairness (sattva-guna),
aristocratical (raja-guna), and ignorance (tama-guna). By developing the mode of goodness, one becomes advanced in knowledge, wise, and not very much affected by material miseries. A person with a mode of passion will work extremely hard to attain a sense of gratification. One in ignorance, also called the mode of darkness, is unmotivated, experiences a loss of intelligence, and can be degraded to madness. The three modes contain all aspects of life, be it person, social, spiritual, music, action, emotion, food, work, faith, etc. The consciousness and quality of a person’s life are shaped by the modes they choose to associate with.
6. Happiness is a feeling. Happiness is based on the individual. A person with 100 rupees earning can be happier than Billionaire. It is our point of view that the glass is half full or half empty. There is no reason to be negative. Every morning we should be thankful when wake up that God gave us one more day to do good deeds. Happiness is always been inside. Be thankful for everything that we have. It is always better to be optimistic.
Our faith in God and optimism towards life leads to Blissful in life. Blissful is a state of Happiness which we all want to attain.
